non-holiday trivia

the time of the year when i would normally be joining in the Christmas festivities by revamping my blogskin is dampened by the fact that it is December and i still have exams coming. bummer. well, the good thing about this is, the current skin was done between after last christmas and before new year's so still quite relevant..in fact, it's even more relevant now than it was for the entire year! oh wow. *bimbotic gasp*

and with no relevance at all to the above save for the fact that we are still talking about Christmas, here's a little trivia. the pretty decorations and themes that malls and stores put up is not just for our eyes to feast on but also to add to the buying mood.
like, how many times toward the end of November have you happily and innocently walked into a mall only to be asaulted by *gasp!* Christmas decorations already! then you start thinking bout gifts that're yet to be bought and suddenly things you normally don't look at might be 'a good gift for so-and-so'.

well, the first part might be applicable to you if you're blur like me and the second part will happen if you're not like me. i tend to pick out gifts for people on the basis of when i see something that makes me think of them (usually) so, depending on that person's "luck" he or she will receive their gift uber early or uber late.
